I don't want to give it as much as I can. I'm Vietnamese but I can't forgive it. The soup was salty, very hard and the couple's attitude was bad. You should never come.
MoreI thought I give this place a review as I came from a horrible worst experience from another Vietnamese restaurant. So I thought she deserve a review th Owner was very lovely, nice and super friendly and she speak Vietnamese that help us a lot as we don’t know japanese. It was really good to able to speak a language that someone understand. I have read some of the bad reviews and never had those experienced with her. Food was good my family especially my kids enjoyed it. I wanted to try the soup but it was to hot in the restaurant. This is why I minus a star I wish she had air conditioner or more fan so I can try her soup dishes with out being more hotter than it is. It just that I would like to enjoying my food in a more comfortable place. But otherwise most of her food was good. I was a group of 7 and everybody try different dishes.
MoreGotta say the service is pretty “cold”, you don’t feel welcome here. They don’t have lunch set sort of stuff and only serve your glass of water after you order something which is not usual in Japan. I only tried Beef Pho, can’t say for all. The soup is okish, but the noodle is quite cheap below average among all the restaurants I’ve tried before. The Vietnam family restaurant near my home is definitely the best one so far. And costs less than this one with real beef.Only the pic looks good.
MoreOishii
was delicious!
I waited almost 45 minutes for pho & egg rolls. Sadly pho was flavorless and I only tasted bean sprouts(no beef flavor in broth). The messed up part was while paying, I put 2000 yen on the blue tray first. The old lady took that, stuffed it quickly in her register and then proceeded to charge me for the full tab. She pretended she didn’t understand me. I left hungry, and loss 5000 yen. I don’t recommend this place.
MoreThe pho wasn’t very good... I’ve had better in my hometown. The rice noodles were not good. And the broth was very generic, not authentic beef bone broth.
MoreExtremely slow service
Good value course meal for 2000¥ per person. Some delicious options and quite filling. Simply assembled Vietnamese soul food is what you'll get. No new emperor clothing. Juice leaves a lot to be desired. I have a fetish for slack service - I prefer authentic service from people's true character, not some feigned friendliness which makes me feel uncomfortable. A take-it-or-leave-it sincere old Vietnamese couple run the game, and if you like snappy service and being fawned over, perhaps go elsewhere. Seems like a good place to go with a group - lively atmosphere where people can just let it all hang out with their buddies. Not recommended for a date, as the low ceiling creates a cacophonous atmosphere with sound crashing from other tables on top of you. Recommended for its unpretentious, sincere atmosphere - uptight bourgeois locals with uppity notions may baulk. Service was fast enough, I reckon.
MoreService was terrible. Waitress seemed to routinely ignore us. Certainly there was a language barrier, but this was more than a language problem. As for the food, guess shouldn't have expected much for Vietnamese food in Tokyo. We're probably spoiled having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area in the US, which has some of the best Vietnamese Restaurants ever. The Pho was so average, and they didn't include the plate of vegetables (mint, bean sprouts, etc.) that most Vietnamese restaurants include with Pho. To top it off, food took long to come out, and customers arriving after us all seemingly got their food before we didn't. Cannot give a good recommendation for this Vietnamese Restaurant.
MoreCertainly the pho was delicious.Raw spring rolls have a texture like rubber on the outsideI do n’t want to ask again. I ate raw spring rolls at various placesThis was out of place.
MoreWorst experience ever. Took 45 minutes for only a bowl of pho. The person came 15 minutes after us got their pho way before us. Pho arrived and it’s just average. Very disappointing
MoreI learned the existence of this shop from Mr. Hitoshi Okamoto and Mr. Hirano. To be honest, I ate without knowing what Vietnamese food is, but it was delicious. It seems to be captivated by the frequency of wanting to eat once a month.2019.9.14
MoreFood great and service very efficient and polite. Great value.
service is pretty bad, but food is really good. Please hire more happy waiters.
Love thier soup noodles, broth tastes amazing.
The course was cheap and full of volume and delicious. It was the first Vietnamese dish, but I was satisfied with 2500 yen including tea
MoreReally enjoyed the beef pho here. The fried spring rolls were pretty good too. Got right in with no wait. The service was fast, and the staff was fine. I agree that the server wasn’t super friendly, but he was attentive and available when called. I had no problems. Overall, not a bad spot for some decent Vietnamese cuisine.
MoreEven a single person can enter and relax. Also, a person who seems to be the manager of a telephone caller is trying to communicate properly in unfamiliar Japanese.
MoreGood Vietnam feel. The food was decent. The pho broth was just average though because it was catered to Japanese tastes.3 stars for the price. It's a little expansive for the small portion size.
MoreWe came to Tokyo from the US. We ate at this restaurant. The foods are terrible. Pho and Bun Bo Hue are not authentic and strongly affected by the Japanese ramen. Service is bad. Took so long to have the foods. Don’t go to this restaurant if you want to taste the real Pho. I would give zero star if it was available.
Moreservice is so slow at night.
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant.Vietnamese people in Japan prefer it so even when all the customers are Vietnamese.Fresh spring rolls are good but fried spring rolls are also delicious.
MoreVery good vietnamese food for reasonable price
Very good food but the service is extremely slow and lacking. The food is authentic southern Vietnamese style and is quite on the affordable side. However, I had to take away a couple stars due to the fact that the service was just utterly poor. It took a long time to even get the attention of the waitress to take the order to begin with and to top it off, it took almost an hour for anything to even get delivered to our table. It’s a shame the service was so bad as the food is quite good. I’d definitely recommend this place if the service gets better.
MorePho is very delicious.Other menus are full-scale and generally do not lose, but if it is crowded it will take a long time to serve. The clerk is also not very motivated, so it's just a good idea to go on a spare day when you don't really have a plan and wait patiently while reading a book. The store will not open on time, but if you go there when it is vacant, such as immediately after the store opens, it will come out unexpectedly early and you will be out of tune.It is wise to change the day when you have no time.
MoreNice Vietnamese food. The owners are very nice and friendly
Delicious Vietnamese restaurant. It's a very calm shop and I want to repeat it.
It was expensive and not delicious
Delicious it,
Delicious, authentic Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue in the middle of Shibuya! Only complaint is the serving size was a little bit small however it was delicious and not too spicy. Atmosphere was also very lovely - the waitress was dressed in traditional ao dai and the restaurant was decorated in very cosy and warm tones and Vietnamese pop playing from the speakers.
MoreExperience nightmares.
serving too poorly
Among the Vietnamese restaurants in Tokyo, there may be the most vegetables
Food is good but you probably have to wait ~30mins for your food to be served. The restaurant is running with very few staffs so they're quite slow at cooking.
MoreDelicious food: bun cha gio, bun cha gio thit nuong, nomBUT NOT RECOMMENDED: bun bo hue
MoreThe food is good but the service is poor. The lady running the business is kinda rude and the rest of the staff is slow, nobody is smiling. In any case, I had pho and noodles, both tasted good, better than many other places I've been too. It's a very down to earth place, nothing fancy, good for a simple meal.
MoreGreat food!!!! but keep in mind the wait is about 30mins minimum, the service is slow but that just because it’s only an old couple serving and cooking at the same time! If you want good food, big portion with reasonable price.... then this is the place for you! Check out the pictures though... doesn’t that look great?! Wait until you try it!
MoreReally slow and bad service. Customers arriving after us had their food served first (same order as us)which made this experience more frustrating. Total wait time 45 minutes.
MoreThe texture of fresh spring roll rice paper is exquisite. The ingredients are packed tightly and it is excellent to eat!Pakchi is full of dashi, and it's the best! I'm chicken, my daughter is seafood, and it's different! The amount is plenty and I am very satisfied.
MoreEven very delicious salmon ... it's hard to cook
Vietnamese restaurant on the 6th floor of a building along Tokyu Department Store Street. There is another Vietnamese restaurant as well. The decor is not very Vietnamese, but the food is perfect. The view from the window is also a place where you can see the hustle and bustle of Shibuya.
MoreEat Vietnamese in Japan? And why not. But what brought us here first is the fact that my girlfriend is celiac and that eating Gluten Free in Japan is very complicated (in the soy sauce there is .... well wheat actually ).In the end small restaurant, typical of the living districts of Tokyo. 5th floor, nothing special but welcome and good food.
MoreThe buncher was delicious.
The fried mochi is really delicious!
The 2000 yen lunch course was good.
Though the food is very good, the service is absolutely horrible. I’ve once waited nearly an hour after everyone at my table has already gotten their dish. The staff are definitely NOT happy people. One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Tokyo. Unlike many of the others, it is southern Vietnamese style and has been around for quite some time. Spring rolls and vermicelli rice noodles with meat/spring rolls are the best dishes. The pho is not all that great- just like how they all are in Tokyo...
MoreFood is good but we have been waiting for an hour for our food, and the waiter is one of the unfriendliest people I met in Japan.
MoreI think Ao Dai is good
